After approval of the forgings/plates/tubes duly identified vis a vis the Heat Marks, they are processed for machining/fabrication and drilling operations. Various Stages are offered to TPI as per the approved QAP.
We have complete range of precision measuring instruments duly calibrated to enable third party inspector/client's inspector to carry our inspection such as
- Calibrated Micrometers (Range upto 300 m.m.)
- Calibrated Vernier Calipers (Range upto 1000 m.m)
- Inside Dial Calipers for measuring Grooves & Bores (Range 10-35 m.m)
- Dial Bore Gauge (Range 10 to 150 m.m.) and many more gauges.
- Pole D Apparatus for measuring the Hardness of the Material.
- Ultrasonic Thickness Measuring Instrument.
- Machining Surface Comparator.
Stagewise & Final Inspection is carried out on every components by our internal inspection engineer, (not associated with the production). All the equipment & components are thoroughly checked and rechecked & recorded before being offered to the third party inspector/client's inspector.
Necessary QAP/WPS etc are in place and welding carried out using calibrated welding rectifiers. Calibrated Ovens for preheating of electrodes are used.
